If the words "Bruce in New Jersey" don't sell this on their own, check out the title track on the Boss's new Wrecking Ball, an ode to the football stadium that once stood only yards away from East Rutherford's Izod Center, the venue for tonight's show. There, Bruce Springsteen will surely play most of that new album, but so long as he dips back into the classics—"Thunder Road," "Dancing in the Dark," "Rosalita," and the like—no one will go home disappointed. The only question: How well will Jake Clemons, the nephew of the late E Street Band tenor Clarence Clemons, fill in on sax? Bruce Springsteen performs April 3 and 4 at the Izod Center and April 6 and 9 at Madison Square Garden.
Tue., April 3, 7:30 p.m.; Wed., April 4, 7:30 p.m., 2012
