Go Go Tales
Dir. Abel Ferrara (2007). Set within the tawdry confines of Ray Rubys Paradise, an institution half Times Square titty bar, half Steppenwolfs magic theater, this Ferrara opus is frenzied yet pensive. Shtick runs rampant (Asia Argento erupts into the proceedings for a number that involves the exchange of bodily fluids with a Rottweiler) but no amount of writhing pulchritude or bad language can conceal this movies essential innocence.
Wednesdays-Sundays, 7 p.m.; Mon., Jan. 17, 7 p.m.; Tue., Jan. 18, 7 p.m. Starts: Jan. 12. Continues through Jan. 16, 2011
