If you ask hirsute frontman Warren Haynes, he'll tell you it's the "Mississippi colloquialism" Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe used to describe James Brown's wife's derriere when she jumped on stage in Memphis. But basically, it's a synonym for ear-splitting awesomeness.
