After five beautiful seasons of insane methamphetamine production, brutal killings, massive explosions, and twisted lies, Breaking Bad is finally ending. But don’t give in to the sadness just yet; let’s celebrate the greediness and selfishness of Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, with two Breaking Bad events. The first is Long Cook: A Breaking Bad Marathon at Lincoln Center, which consists of free public screenings of every episode of the show to date; it begins on Friday and runs through today. The second event is today’s TimesTalk with the cast, including Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, and Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, hosted by New York Times culture reporter Dave Itzkoff. Long Cook: A Breaking Bad Marathon, Friday-Tuesday, the Film Society of Lincoln Center Amphitheater, and TimesTalk at TheTimesCenter.
