The daring, impish, and ceaselessly novel Bay Area guitarist takes his May curatorial duties at the Stone to a promising new level of conceptual perversity. At 8 p.m., Kaiser will improvise alongside Cookie the Clown, a local balloon twister. (Requests may or may not be accepted.) At 10 p.m., Kaiser performs with FACE, five improvising actors who create original shows accompanied by a five-piece jazz combo. The remainder of Kaiser's schedule is equally, and refreshingly, askew.
Sat., May 1, 8 & 10 p.m., 2010
