Once upon a time he churned out dubstep for Tempa, but then he donned his Addison Groove guise, borrowed some plans from Chicago juke and blew the UK bass world’s ears open with the crazy “Footcrab.” His 2012 debut LP, Transistor Rhythm, further refines that single’s jittery laser cut-outs. As a DJ Doc Daneeka offers both a stunning collection of tracks the Welshman’s Ten Thousand Yen label introduced Julio Bashmore and xxxy to UK funky and a sure sense of when to play it smooth and when to shake things up.
