HIGH ON THE HOLIDAYS
Chug that spiked eggnog because at tonight’s Christmas Is Spectacular, you’re going to need it. Jo Firestone, creator of PUNDERDOME 3000 (a nutty competition where punthusiasts improvise puns in 90 seconds), presents the outrageous story of Bambina Bambina “a legendary child star of the 1940s whose imminent comeback Christmas show is threatened only by her past 60 years of self-destruction.” So what can you expect during tonight’s bizarre comedy party? According to Firestone, there will be live Christmas music, singing, dancing, screaming, animals, cookies, and possibly a Liza Minnelli flash mob. We couldn’t make this stuff up if we tried. Proceeds from the show will go to benefit Housing Works.
