With a name right out of the Windham Hill rack at New Age Records, it benefits Brooklyn's Himalaya that they sound less interested in pure moods than the craggy, amplified peaks of pure distorto-fuzz. Comprised of former members from such outfits as Asteroid #4, the group's laquered electric guitar spreads across the psych-rock cabinet. In a bizarro-world Brooklyn, this shit is New Age. With deVries and Widowspeak.
