'His Lovely Wife Ira: Ira Gershwin With & Without George'
Playing off the old radio blooper (and Louella Parsons gaffe) about George Gershwin's extraordinarily talented lyricist brother, the sometimes loud, sometimes modulated Mark Nadler reminds audiences about several of those great wordsmithed ditties. Included is the prolific fellow's biggest seller, "Long Ago and Far Away," music not by George but by Jerome Kern.
Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: June 4. Continues through July 8, 2009
