For more than 40 years, Greenwich Village–born Danny Krivit has been DJing around New York, and for the past 11, he’s been throwing and headlining the 718 Sessions, a party that started at (as the name implies) Brooklyn’s Water Street but found a home in the 212 area with the opening of Santos Party House in 2008. Tonight, Krivit returns with the party's annual Holiday Classics night, and this year, the man has booked Chicago house music godfather Frankie Knuckles to play the basement. It doesn't get more classic than that. Expect four-on-the-floor favorites from back in the day and the sort of disco deep cuts that you can dance to all night long.
