In the Company of Men
(Neil LaBute, 2009).
Neil LaBute burst upon the indie scene with the most incendiary dating flick in the decade since Fatal Attractiona tale of office sexual politics that walks a tightrope through the fog of gender paranoia without benefit of a safety net. Although this well-written, expertly played first feature is a stunt, the thesis is so ruthlessly demonstrated and comedy so borderline that you feel implicated if you laugh.
