INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU RETURNS
Peter Sellers was a man who could walk on water, literally: See Being There, the profound philosophical comedy in which he stars as a simple gardener with Jesus-like abilities. The British comedian also inhabited such unforgettable characters as Dr. Strangelove and Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther films. Now, in memory of the 30th anniversary of his death, Sellers has a new roleas the subject of an Off-Broadway biography. Playwright Carl Caulfields new play, Being Sellers, which is part of the ongoing series Brits Off Broadway at 59E59, explores the man behind the laughs. It stars David Boyle, who takes on many of the actors famous characters.
