Dir. Edwin L. Marin (1942).
Jon Hall stars as the grandson of The Invisible Man who uses grandaddy's formula to spy on America's World War II enemies in Marin's ridiculously entertaining nonsensical flick. Peter Lorre is a barrel of fun as the diabolical Japanese agent Baron Ikito. Geared for wartime audiences, the picture presents the Nazis as buffoons and brutish sadists and the Japanese as inhuman fiends. It's a hoot and a half.
