Iron Dog+The Home of Easy Credit
A stellar trifecta of Brooklyn avant-gardists converge to form Iron Dog:Stuart Popejoy (bass wielder of local doom grinders, Bassoon), Sarah Bernstein (a Braxton collaborator), and drummer Andrew Drury (Steve Swell Trio) celebrate the bewitched experimentalist minimalism of their debut, Interactive Album Rock. Also on the bill are Queens avant heroes, The Home of Easy Credit, the formidable husband/wife team comprised of of punk-jazz bassist Tom Blancarte (Seabrook Power Plant) and sax skronker Louise Dam Eckardt Jensen, whose Northern Spy debut unleashed earlier this year painted mind-warping monolithic space-jazz soundscapes.
