A lot of the most commonly used Yiddish terms—putz, bupkes, schmuck—aren’t so appropriate for tots’ tender ears. But we trust the National Yiddish Theatre-Folksbiene has cleaned up its act for this annual holiday show that features jolly songs in a variety of styles and a bit of language instruction.
