JAM WITH THE BISCUITS
Camp Bisco may sound like a late-90s Nickelodeon sitcom, but in actuality, its an ambitiously far-flung music festival that has lured Snoop Dogg, MSTRKRFT, and LCD Soundsystem to upstate New York. The three-day dystopia was founded by Philly electro-jammers the Disco Biscuits in 1999 as a middle finger to all the established festivals that wouldnt hire them, and its matured into that rare sweet spot of concerts: impressively lucrative yet still D.I.Y. The same praise fits the Biscuits handily: An eccentric roots band with trance infusions, theyre a reliably engaging live experience that never feels conventional. With openers Raekwon (tonight), Holy Ghost! (Tuesday), and the Crystal Method (Wednesday).
