Joe Ely Band
Ely is the rockingest member of the Flatlanders, which he co-founded in Lubbock, Texas, with Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock. His new album, Satisfied at Last, is a mature testament to aging gracefully as a high-spirited yet often inwardly-directed Texas troubadour. One need hardly mention anymore the significant influence he had on the young, impressionable Clash.
