Todd Barry is a master at pointing out misconceptions: Tourists actually don’t want us to give them directions; people who speak English as a second language are way more proficient than us first-wavers; and comedians aren’t millionaires, not even close. The Bronx native has been all over late night television and Comedy Central, but he deals in New York subject matter: namely, crowds and strangers and all their accompanying weirdness. He’s in good company tonight, performing alongside Saturday Day Night Live’s newest cast member, Sasheer Zamata, whom you might recognize as Greenpoint’s (only) Girls tour guide — her spoof that inspired a lot of people to go hang out near the Café Grumpy trash cans. Tonight, they perform as part of the ComedyJuiceNYC series with Christian Finnegan and Mark Normand.
