There's a fictional band in the 2001 film Ghost World called Blues Hammer, a satirical jab at commercialized noise that masquerades as blues. Mack is a driving force behind Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, the jazz and blues side project of Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe. But here, he'll be unplugged—just a man, his guitar, and that hard-earned voice that only comes from truly having lived it.
