KEEP THE PEACE
It's a hot time in the Cold War as the Wooster Group prepares to revive North Atlantic, a piece by James Strahs that debuted in 1983 and played again in 2000. On an aircraft carrier drifting somewhere off the coast of the Netherlands, sexual politics and military intelligence get into a song-studded clinch. If it's anything like the earlier incarnations, this peacekeeping mission should prove delectably chaotic. The current cast includes Wooster Group regulars (Kate Valk, Scott Shepherd), downtown favorites (Paul Lazar, Jenny Seastone Stern), and a smattering of film and television stars (Frances McDormand, Maura Tierney). Though unrelated, except by title, to South Pacific, this should make for some enchanted evening.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 4 p.m. Starts: March 11. Continues through April 25, 2010
