Life of Agony

Since their sold-out Irving Plaza reunion shows in 2003, Brooklyn-bred metallers Life of Agony have played it safe (and smart) when it comes to home-region concerts. Known for sweaty shows and frontman Keith Caputo's powerful wail (inspired in part by Annie Lennox, no joke), they play only annually and it's usually a special concert, at that. Last month, the band played their 1993 breakthrough, River Runs Red, in its entirety in North Jersey, and the concert garnered rave reviews. For tonight's show, the group will play a career-spanning set celebrating their 20th anniversary. With Dead Men Dreaming, AnAkA, and One Brick Down.
Tue., Dec. 15, 7 p.m., 2009
