Like A Pro
Tavi Gevinson, who rose to fashion-world fame at 13 and started her own hip online magazine, Rookie, in 2011, is now 16 and launching a book about the first year of her magazine. In between Fashion Week events, she’ll pop in at McNally Jackson for the launch party of Rookie Yearbook One, which she herself edited and art directed for publisher Drawn & Quarterly while finishing her school exams and running her website (the girl knows how to multitask!). Entertainment for her many Tavi-ites will be readings by contributors, musical performances, and “a few very special guests.”
Sun., Sept. 9, 7 p.m., 2012
