Its not totally easy to figure out what the annual Citysol festival is all aboutthe words clean energy, solar power, conservation, and awareness appear in various places and configurations around the events websitebut the entertainment component seems clear enough: Four days of bands, comedians, and booths where you can trade a pledge toward green power for free beer. Tonight, the lineup runs the gamut from So Percussion, the new-music percussion quintet, to Ecstatic Sunshine, the thunderous Baltimore-based drone trio, with stops along the way for local flute-heavy nostalgia rapper Blitz the Ambassador and the Afrobeat collective Burkina Electric. Light will be provided by the sun, with air-conditioning courtesy of the East River.
