Last year, the married members of Tennis got a good bit of mileage out of the fact that they wrote and recorded their debut album, Cape Dory, after returning from a lengthy Atlantic Ocean sailing trip. (See? We’re still talking about it.) No such backstory buoys the Denver band’s brand-new one—unless you count a production job credited to Patrick Carney of the Black Keys—but with its jangly guitars, fuzzy organ licks, and singer Alaina Moore’s sleepy-sexy vocals, Young & Old still deserves your attention. Tonight, they top a tidy double bill with Brooklyn’s similarly summery Hospitality.
