Dir. Jacques Tati (1953). A delight from beginning to end, this was Tatis first international hit. In some respects the French Jerry Lewis, Tati is a master of the extended sight gagextending the heritage of silent comedy with his meticulously constructed gags and deftly orchestrated pratfalls.
