Machine Drum+Chrissy Murderbot
Its telling that this sequencing inverts last Mays Tammany Hall bill. Back then, Chrissy Murderbot was an Internet underground celebrity thanks to a series of mixes exploring in turn every subgenre you could think of, and his juke tribute, Womens Studies, was earning him well-deserved applause. Meanwhile, Machinedrums Travis Stewart was known a little more than a part of Sepalcure or a Theophilus London collaborator. Now Machinedrum has the exciting new release, Room(s), bracing his old hip hop and jungle influences with a big shot of, yes, juke. With Far East and DJ Scallywag, plus a "very special guest", hopefully from sponsors Planet Mu.
