As unpredictable lyrically as they are instrumentally, Man Man will offer munchkin-esque choral squeaks one moment and pair scats about “butter beans” with frenetic xylophones the next. With piano chord-driven marches and wild bass-heavy romps in their repertoire, these Philly natives always make for riotous shows, occasionally even using the audience as percussion.
