To roast someone you know is a delicate matter—after all, you still want the person to like you. Comedian Jeffrey Ross, whose new book is titled, I Only Roast the Ones I Love, has made a career out of the art form, roasting celebrities like Hugh Hefner, Joan Rivers, and Donald Trump, to name a few, and being famously attacked by Courtney Love on Pamela Anderson's Comedy Central roast. Said Ross on the Today show recently, "A roastmaster never apologizes. Don't back down—stand by your material. And it's also good to know a little self-defense." Tonight, check out the roastmaster extraordinaire in action at Caroline's. Unless you're into verbal abuse, we recommend sitting far out of his view.
