The smart, allusive, and widely traveled art-pop quartet, which has produced three fine albums this decade, plays their first show in more than a year, making this something of an occasion. Paris-born, California-bred frontman Pierre de Gaillande has been translating Georges Brassens's material into English of late, and you can hear the anarchist-poet's influence in Melomane's endearing ("Be my little SOS/ Be the feline on my chest") and lushly arranged romps. With Marta Topferova.
