'Mutek Presents Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, Claro Intellecto, Andy Stott, MLZ, Pangaea & Ezekiel Honig'
Mutek, the Montreal-based festival of electronic music and digital culture, gears up for its 10th anniversary with some Brooklyn practice. Guillaume and Co. deliver the off-kilter minimalism that Mutek helped establish as contemporary dance musics central force, but this year the festival takes a dubby turn, here highlighting the slower, bass-heavy grind of Claro Intellecto, Andy Stott, MLZ and Pangaea. Local Ezekiel Honig tends toward the contemplative.
