Naked Raygun+Paint It Black
Chicago's Naked Raygun were one of the first bands in the second wave of hardcore punk to make the genre really melodic (which is odd since the current lineup boasts members who also played in Black Flag and Big Black). Openers Paint It Black are a Philly-based hardcore band whose frontman, a real-life psychologist, played in some Naked Raygun-influenced acts (Lifetime, Kid Dynamite) and play their own unique brand of adrenaline-inducing melodic hardcore.
