This Kentucky crew lost out on being part of the Dirty South wave partly because they peaked a little too early and also because they parted with their label after their sophomore album. They've persevered though, going the indie route like many of their rock counterparts and maintaining their status as something of a down-home version of Brand Nubianjokey, playful, full of junk culture riffing, but without the Muslim connection.
