Nautical Almanac+Mouthus+Weyes Blood
This strong bill of late-era noise legends is led by Baltimore-via-Ann Arbor squelchers Nautical Almanac. The band renowned for their Pee-Wee's Playhouse vibe of various circuit bent squeakers, colorful toys, hand-cut records, recontexualized junk, and squawking inventions suffered a house fire in 2006, and now have been known to cull a dreamier vibe, often performing noisy shadow-plays behind a sheet. Mouthus are local skronk stalwarts and Weyes Blood is the project of ex-Jackie-O Motherfucker bassist Natalie Mering.
