As they approach middle age, their name takes on new meaning, but give these roots rockers credit: even with singer Rhett Miller's numerous poppy solo excursions, the same foursome have kept reconvening since 1993 to keep the band alive. As they proved at a summer South Street Seaport show, they're still musically young at heart, even when they appropriate a Dylan song.
