ON THE BRINK
Now in its 11th year, the Catch series, a movable feast of what curators Jeff Larson, Andrew Dinwiddie, and Caleb Hammons call “rough and ready” events, touches down in Cobble Hill. Catch 61 drags up 10 hard-to-pigeonhole acts ranging from veteran dancer David Thomson to versatile downtowner Sean Donovan, from edgy women Laurie Berg and Lisa Clair to Bard-born theater collective New Saloon, and including William Burke, Stephan Goldrajch, GRANDMA, Steven Reker, and Saul Ulerio. Catch programs showcase short takes from artists the whole town will celebrate in a year or so.
