(Juan Mandelbaum, 2008). Not to be missed. In this excellent doc, one of the highlights of the recent Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center, Mandelbaum returns to his native Argentina on a personal mission to uncover what happened to friends who were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered during the military dictatorship from 1976 to 1983. He utilizes fascinating archival footage and dramatic testimony from parents, siblings, and children of the disappeared.
