Worried that print media is a dying trade? Fear not. Brooklyn Zine Fest is here to show off the flourishing field of zines. There will be more than 60 booths at this free event, with authors and artists selling their unique self-published magazines for prices ranging from $1 to $10. With titles such as “The East Village Inky,” “The Runcible Spoon,” and “The Borough Is My Library,” there’s sure to be a zine to strike every guest’s fancy. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, including beer specials from the Brooklyn Brewery. Stick around post-fest for the Brooklyn Brain Frame at 7 p.m., a performance and reading event featuring several of the fest’s contributors.
