Patti LuPone

The hot news is that LuPone’s back warbling Great Songbook entries, some of which she may even have introduced, whether on Broadway or London’s West End. The maybe hotter news is that she’s doing it in a new room designed by the great John Lee Beatty—a venue for which the often marginalized cabaret community has great expectations, particularly after the Oak Room at the Algonquin closed several months ago.
Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, 8 & 11 p.m. Starts: June 6. Continues through June 16, 2012
