Peter Frampton’s long, luscious locks may now just be a thing for the history books, but without his ’70s sex symbol looks people can finally focus on the fact that he’s a highly underrated guitar player. Tonight, he’ll play alongside some of classic rock’s most celebrated six-string heroes, for what he’s dubbed Frampton’s Guitar Circus. His special guest in New York is five-time Grammy Award–winning blues musician Robert Cray, and the show will also feature appearances by the Eagles’ former lead guitarist Don Felder and the Byrds’ mastermind Roger McGuinn.
