Last year, Phobia celebrated their 20th anniversary, which is no small feat for any left-wing crust-punk and grindcore band. They titled their most recent album Unrelenting, and that might as well be their mantra. For anyone who's heard their one-to-two-minute grunting hissyfits, it's the consistent intensity and, well, the grunting that really stand out. Joining them tonight are Total Fucking Destruction, a side band for drummer Rich Hoak, who's best known as the Tasmanian Devil behind the drums in grindcore vets Brutal Truth. The impressive thing about TFD is that he somehow finds time to sing, too. With the Communion, Backslider, and Real Ugly.
