Tap dancing, fine dining, the missionary position — that’s just a taste of all the fun you’ll have at the Rude Mechanicals’ latest play, Stop Hitting Yourself. The award-winning Austin-based theater collective explores the “contemporary conservative dilemma” in a show that’s described as part Pygmalion, part Busby Berkeley, and part self-help lexicon. Talented Obie winner Mimi Lien provides the sets. And if all that’s not exciting enough, a flowing queso fountain also features.
