It's not every day that you see the red carpet rolled out for the premiere of a music video. But when you combine indie-rock darlings Department of Eagles with artist Marcel Dzama and director Patrick Daughters, who is signed to Roman Coppola's the Directors Bureau, well, some kind of party is in order. PopRally presents the premiere of Daughters's video for Department of Eagles's single "No One Does It Like You," featuring the twisted fairy-tale touches of Dzama, who designed the set and costumes. Following the screening, Daughters (best known as the man behind the exuberant candy-colored video for Feist's "1234") and Dzama talk shop with MOMA curator Sarah Suzuki and Department of Eagles perform. Artsy bonus: All who attend receive a limited-edition poster by Dzama.
