Want to see the best new theater before anyone else? Here Arts Center treats audiences once again to a dozen new multidisciplinary pieces in workshop form at Culturemart 2010, a showcase for its resident artists. Culturemart alumni have gone on to do groundbreaking full productions and include Obie winners Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf, Lisa D'Amour, and Young Jean Lee, to name a few. Tonight, behold the bizarre world Toni Dove has created for her work Lucid Possession, in which a woman with a head like a radio interacts with her own avatar. Coming up, on January 23 and 24, Yoav Gal presents the "videOpera" Mosheh: The Plagues, a re-enactment of the biblical story of Moses via music, movement, and video projections.
