Her self-produced 2005 recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations, which she performs tonight, made the pianist a breakout classical star (with Oprah's help) in 2007. It should be fascinating to see if the controversial interpretive touches that set her recording on a par with Glenn Gould's famous 1955 version, in the ears of many listeners, remain in place eight years later
