If there is a better food than melted cheese, we certainly don't know what it is. Matt Timms (founder of the Chili Takedown) is well aware of this fact and is once again hosting the Fondue Takedown, described on the flyer as "the most important fondue contest in NYC!!" As we know from a past takedown, PBR and cheese, while delicious on their own, do not mix well together over a Bunsen burner. Find out what else does and doesn't work as $10 allows you to taste (unlimitedly!) and judge. The winner gets $100. Entering the contest is free; just bring your own cheese and whatever ingredients you want to experiment with—but e-mail Timms in advance at mtimms7@hotmail.com.
