Tonight, cop a midwinter dose of jubilation courtesy of this colorfully attired 26-member South African chorus: The mellifluous traditional music known as isicathamiya, brought to the masses by Ladysmith Black Mambazo, appears in full effect beside African-tinged sacred music from the American South ("Amazing Grace"), Jamaica ("Many Rivers to Cross"), and other zones where joy and sorrow intersect.
