Dir. Ted Wilde (1928). This gem is one of the most rewarding of Harold Lloyd's silent comedies. Harold tries to save New York's last horse-drawn trolley, and the result is a rollicking slapstick valentine to the city, shot on locations from Coney Island to Yankee Stadium, with an appealing cameo by Babe Ruth. The Big Apple 1928 location footage is priceless. Live piano accompaniment by the veteran Stuart Oderman.
