In the early 2000s, garage rockers Spicy Rizzaks paraded their scuzzy, shambolic mix of Cramps-like howls, blues-rawk guitar licks lifted from any number of Nuggets tracks and some euphoric call-and-response backup vocals around the Lower East Side. Although they broke up in 2004, they played enough gigs to have a turkey-bacon-cheddar concoction named after them at L.E.S. lunch mainstay Tiny's Giant Sandwich Shop. Tonight, they reunite in part to celebrate the posthumous release of their sole LP, Endgame.
