STEP TO IT
The proverbial overnight success that’s been years in the making, the American Tap Dance Foundation has trained and presented the city’s best tappers since 1986, when it was founded by Charles “Honi” Coles, Brenda Bufalino, and Tony Waag. Now directed by Waag, it brings us a new edition of Rhythm in Motion, rocking artists like the award-winning Michelle Dorrance, Chloe Arnold, and Nicholas Young, who, on Program A, stretch the boundaries of the form; Program B, beginning April 10, includes Bufalino, Felipe Galganni, and Cartier Williams, plus members of the Tap City Youth Ensemble.
Wed., April 9, 7 & 9:30 p.m.; Thu., April 10, 7 p.m., 2014
