STRUT TO THE MUSIC
Tonight, Brooklyn is in store for a full-on fashion party. Style Klash benefits the socially conscious Gallery at Harriet's Alter Ego—the art space that spawned from the innovative, edgy clothing shop with the same name—that has made it its mission over the last two years to make art more accessible while also exposing local artists to the community. The night includes music by the ever stylish HEAVy, 77Klash, and Etana, not to mention sets by DJ Spinna and Radio Rose. Aside from the sounds, Harriet's Alter Ego (who count M.I.A. and Mos Def among their fans) will be exhibiting their latest eccentric patterns on the runway, with designers Nassat, Miss Bruno, and Coup D'Etat showing as well. Artwork will be on sale for under $200—not bad. Treats will be provided, too, like a two-hour open bar!
